News From Cedarmore Farm

I received word from Andy that is is a cold and wintry day at Cedarmore Farm.  So far their wood stove is doing a good job in keeping us warm during these cold winter months.  This winter they are working on their new house. They are trying really hard to finish the upstairs so they can move up from the basement sometime in February
Looking back over our first three years with CSA, they definitely feel things are headed in the right direction. They thank everyone for their support in  these first three years. They feel strongly that we are the ones that make it possible for them to make a living as a small family farm. They promise to  do their best to provide us with healthy, good tasting, quality food right from the farm.

They have been able to make a few small changes again for 2011. They have added two weeks to both the Spring and the Fall shares. This means the season will be 4 weeks longer that it was last year. The price per week will stay the same as it was last year. To those of you that pick up in the Cincinnati area, they are happy to be able to drop the delivery fee from $4.00 to $3.00 per week. They have also added a surprise Can Goods Share, so if you want, you can buy one of these shares and get a jar of canned goods with each box of produce during the season. These canned goods are processed  on the farm. They have been able to add a few more pick up locations again this year. They are located in the Northern part of Cincinnati.

Please be prompt in buying your shares. This is a big help for them when planning things for the upcoming year. This also insures you a spot on the program. They sign their customers in on a first come first serve basis. Last year they sold out and they expect to sell out again this year. They would encourage you to sign up as soon as possible in insure yourself a spot in the program. Also please notice the sign up deadlines on the sign up sheet. They are beside the share dates and prices.
